משחק–Create a New Game

Create a new game for Chanukah. We all love dreidle, but we need new games as well. As a family create a new game that is Jewish and fun that your family can play each year. We will ask you to share your invented game with us, so we can put together a collection of new Chanukah games for our community.

  1. Flick the Gelt. Just like the football game you play or played at lunch at school with the paper football, this game involves a gelt wrapper and 3 levels of obstacle courses to get the gelt wrapper into one of the cups. The best part, you get the eat the gelt first before you play.

  3. Our new game is called "Die Dreidel". (No dreidels are harmed when the game is played) It's traditional dreidel with a twist (pun intended). Roll a six-sided die at the beginning of your turn. This determines how many times you get to spin the dreidel. For each spin, you decide if you want to stop there or keep going. The last spin of your turn counts. For example, if you get a Gimel, you'd want to stop, but if you get Hay, you have a decision to make. It was fun!
